Dan Joosten
CEO and Owner; LEL Environmental

Dan Joosten has been in the Environmental field for over 20 years and the owner of LEL Environmental for over 10 years. Dan graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1984 with a BBA and earned a Masters of Environmental Engineering in 1998. Dan’s certifications include Radioactive Safety Officer (RSO) and CECM (certified Environmental Compliance Manager). He is 40 Hour Haz-Woper trained, DOT Certified for shipping documentation, and Emergency Response first responder trained.

Dan’s experience working in the environmental field and for TSDF’s has given him the knowledge of how to manage waste, how to minimize waste being generated and how to bring full sustainable solutions to each of his customers. He has become a leading knowledge expert in this complex field, which has brought clients to LEL from across the globe seeking help with sustainable environmental solutions.

Terrie Jennings
Compliance Manager

Terrie Jennings has worked in the Environmental field for more than 20 years. With companies such as Waste Management, Chemical Waste Management and AETS & USA Environment, Terrie has held positions for Receiving Supervisor, Customer Services Supervisor, Inside Sales Director, Dispatch and Transportation Supervisor, and Customer Service Manager and Compliance Manager. She has extensive training in both EPA & DOT regulations.

Since joining LEL Environmental, Terrie has been heavily involved in the recycling world of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This has been a very fulfilling area for Terrie, and she continually thinks outside the box in finding the best disposal waste options which benefit both the client and environment. Terrie’s extensive background in customer service is a true value and her belief in honesty and compliance ensures that LEL customers are confident in the service they are receiving.

Terrie enjoys spending as much time as possible with her three teenage children and granddaughter. Her hobbies include tennis, cards, and attending any sporting event. Terrie is involved with organizations that provide training programs for women and teenage girls to develop empowerment and confidence.
